Not all the ideas are meant to fly
During the active years of TecGyver Innovations, a large number of ideas were born and nursed. However, not all ideas are healthy enough to progress all away to last product gate.
The fact that the idea is here in the “Hall of Shame” does not mean, that the idea would not get a second chance. Some other breakthrough in other technology area might just be enough to bring it live again.
Sound monitoring system for open offices
This innovation – ignited in 2019 – is related to emerging open offices, in which people have to cope with all levels of noise produced by their colleagues – from occasional chit-chat to a hour-long Teams call with headphones on.
Then COVID came, emptied all offices and killed this idea. Or at least put it to hibernation…
AUGMENTED reality platform ip
This IP is related to augmented reality platform, power consumption, location data handling etc to enable lightweight AR glasses to be usable in everyday applications.
Although the patent was ultimately abandoned, couple of companies (including Google) are citing it in their own applications.
