Lab tests – salt spray
During the first laboratory tests, the prototype camera and standard automotive camera were rigoroysly treated with salt spray.
Spraying was carried out in similar fashion for both cameras. From the video one can observe how the C-TRUE camera image keeps clear all time, and in comparison the reference camera gets foggy really quick.
target environment tests
C-TRUE technology was tested thoroughly in Finland during the most demanding seasons – winter and early spring. A passenger car was equipped with both standard automotive camera and C-TRUE system prototype.
